Columbus native artist and self taught photographer, Willis aims to show the richness and complexity of the inner fabric of Columbus folk by considering how they might see themselves and trying to connect both these vantage points to bridge the gap between beauty and the mundane.

As an African American he believes it’s imperative for us to tell our stories and show our perspective, imagination, and creativity of our people.
